Saturday Night @ Orchard Road

After a long time we went to Orchard Road. They were debating where to go; T3, Ubin, Botanical Garden, JP Kranji, Melaka or stay Home.. Mommy wanted to eat Durian again, so she was pushing us to go Orchard Road.

Dolling Up, Make -Up Man Daddy...

Guided Tour: Chauffer (more like a taxi driver) : Daddy....

Saw a Busker, Mommy said "come to worst, you better learn some portable music instrument so you can busk and survive. Don't know how long the recession will last"

We went to this old russian restaurant called Shashlik . They ate juicy steak and I had formula milk.

It was nice watching the street, the lights and the new flower works at Orchard Road. The $30 Million make over??

Recession is good for one thing, I learnt a new word called "SALE". And I think I like that word as much as my Mommy does.

Airport is my play ground

Reading my book in natural light, Mom says global warming

Talking to my orchids

This is the red dress that I mentioned yesterday. Daddy combed this hairstyle for me. I think I look more Chinese than Indian with this hair style. Your thoughts pls.

We went to (Terminal 3, Changi Airport) T3 few times but this time it was different. Yesterday afternoon, they took me to Airport to see planes take off and land. On the way we went to this place in Bukit Batok to eat fish porridge, recommended by Aunty Mollie and Landia ( Mom's friends). I think my dad really liked it, he finished his and ate mom's left over too.

Watching others while parents eat.

We reached T3 around 3 PM. They went into this coffee club to drink overrated coffee to look young and feel good. My eyes were on the vast carpeted area and I wanted to be there running around chasing flies.

So bored at Coffee Club

The Sunday Times

A warm Sunday Greetings to everyone from Jurong West St 65.

Slept like a little pig until 8 AM. Mom and Dad was experimenting with French Toast recipe for me. Cook in butter or Olive Oil, Put Sugar or Syrup etc were the kind of major decisions they had to make for me. Make a huge stack, I don't know why. They thought I am getting married today and lots of my friends were invited?? Any way to keep the short story long, I ate few bites and gave them the signal that I am about to throw up everything including the durians that I had few days ago.

Teasing Aunt Michelle

Today we are planning to go to Shisheda Method place to pay them some money to start my brain tuning lessons from next month. Yes this is the Japanese Brain technique to make me a Genius that my parents are about to try. I think it is a Scam, may be some smart Japanese guy came up with the idea to trick us, see how blinded my folks are to trust anything Japanese. Anyway it is their choice until I have my way on them.

The red dress I am wearing looks really nice on me, Later I put some pictures for you all on the blog. Time to get going or a whole Sunday will be wasted in front of the computer.

Eat Jay Min Eat, Daddy is going to buy you a Diamond Ring

Daddy says Eat Jay Min Eat. I say Sing Daddy Sing

This week Daddy took the feeding task and guess what it was easy to bully him. I got away with not eating much. I think I lost weight and Mommy and Daddy was fighting about it all day. See the fundamental problem is recession, I am saving money by eating less. Poor folks need to know my good intention. I think I am eating enough and I am growing fine, and for the taste of the things Gemma cooks I am being extremly polite by eating few spoons.

Their wall charts

I Can Sing Malayalam, English and Mandarin Song, not a Remix, original numbers.

Anyway, they are doing everything they can to make me grow faster and smarter. Everywhere they put study materials. Even my changing station has multiplication table. Kind of Product placement you know. Everywhere there is hidden message for me.

Keys to Freedom

Sometimes I take the key and threaten them to open the door and go back to Aunt Janet House. I think I like it there. Here they are forcing me to grow up and too many rules. Most of the times my parents start talking to me with words like Don't , No and all. Where is my human rights Mr. Obama Save me or I call Osama to deal with my parents.

My Ubin Trip

We (Mom, Dad and Uncle Appu) went to Pulau Ubin the other day. Let me put some pictures of my trip.

In the morning we took the boat. It was fun, the boat was going very fast, cutting the waves and spalshing water on to the boat.

Ferry to Ubin $2

It felt like we were back in Kerala. Coconuts, spiders, bananas, green everywhere. As we were walking, there was a giant lizard on the road. I was not scred but Mom and Dad got a shock. Then Dad saw a snake after five minutes. He was planning to go into the wilderness and pick durian fruits. He changed his mind. We walk for few couple kilometers and we saw a turtle.

Turtle is good luck for mommy and holy animal for daddy.

Seeing a Turtle $200

The we went to this building and we saw people eating Durian. They where nice to share with us. Mommy say it is not the best kind, I don't know the difference so I ate it.

Eating Durian... Priceless

Daddy, your singing is contagious. Now I can't stop singing. There are few songs that I am getting good at. Not just the Ba Ba Black sheep kind, All the Qubeez songs I can sing now.

Sorry images are not displayed

All the images on our blog is not displayed. It is not our fault. Something wrong with the blogger. So bear with us until the smart guys in California fix the problem for us. Or wait for me to grow up a bit more and become a smart IT whiz and then I can solve it myself.

About my India Trip

My Aunt Michelle carrying me, Changi Airport Singapore.

I have been wanting to write about my India trip for a long time.
It was my Dad's 2nd annual trip to Sabarimala (a temple in Kerala, India), that gave us the oppurtunity to visit Kerala. Me, Mom, Dad booked seats on SilkAir to Cochin.

After a long week of cold war between Mom and Dad, they called for Peace on the Day of India trip. I think my Mom gave up, as Dad will not change his careless attitude.

Uncle Appu came with us to Airport, just in case the checking lady say NO our enormous bags and tons of stuffs. It was just for a week but I think my mom packed the whole house. Aunt Michelle was there to help us check in.

After few hours of running around the airport, I was tired and hungry. Finally we got on board. Flight was packed and we were sitting next to this gentleman from Perth. I was giving him hell, kicked him so many times for fun, but he was cool. My Mom could not sleep, she was carrying me all the way.

Onboard Silkair to Cochin

We landed at Nedumbasserry Airport around 10.30PM local time. I was very sleepy and tired, we took a taxi to my Dad's home.

Nedumbasserry Airport

Next Morning, I woke up to the noises of a rooster, the cow and the temple music all in one go. I called Mom and asked her "Wake up, there is a festival" Mom told me "No la , here, it is like this every morning". She recalled from her last trip to Kerala. We went downstairs to see the cow and chickens.

with my cousin Achu saying hello to the Cow.

That evening my Dad was doing the ritual to go temple. This temple is on top of a mountain and he is going to hike the mountain at night with my cousins Achu and Rama and uncle Ashokan. Next morning they see God Ayyapa and pray for us. He did this ritual last year and this is the second time he is doing the ritual. Hiking a mountain on bare foot, he told me was tough last year.

dad doing the ritual, you can see my Grandpa (sitting) Ashokan uncle (standing), Achu and Grandma.

The next day they all came back and we started having fun. The best bit was the bath in the small pool . It gets hot in the afternoon and my dad fills up the water for us to play. You can see my greatgrandma watching us play.

me, mom, achu and rama, great randma (watching)

More to come from Indian Trip.....

Constipation strikes again....

Constipation is no fun. I was suffering for the last few days. Guys my parents keep feeding me and I could not have any output for 2 days. Finally I manged with a lot a pain and hard work. I was sweating like I was stuck in a chimney.

I went to see a small baby boy today. Ashton is just one month old and his parents (my mom's colleagues) invited us for a full moon celebration ( 1 month old). Lots of food for mom and dad, I was stuck with them with a lot of people. Baby was too small to play with me, so no fun for me. We saw auntie Mollie and Landia Jiejie there but they just arrived when we where about to leave.

Then we went to Botanical garden side to eat Durian fruits. Mom decided to pack it home and I had to put up with the smell.

I heard my Grandma in India fell down and broke her knee cap. Need to call her and tell her to be careful and get well soon. I wanted to visit her in March but then with a bad knee, we will be troubling her.

I am little cutie pumpkin wishing you all A Happy Valentines Day

My father told me the story of Valentine's Day this morning:
There was a bad emperor Claudius II in Rome who decided that single men made better soldiers than those with wives and families, he outlawed marriage for young men, who he thought should become soldiers. Then there was a Catholic Saint called Valentine, who was against this injustice of Claudius and and he perform marriages for young lovers in secret. When Valentine's actions were discovered, Claudius ordered that he be put to death.

This morning nice and early I woke up and woke every one up too. Ha Ha. I know I can see mommy was so sleepy and wanted to continue her sleep.
Too Bad mommy it is time to head to McDonald's.

On the way I had a great time running around in the open field near our block.
I was chasing birds. Infact I was trying to feed them grass but they got scared. So try to feed my mommy with some grass. I am not implying anything you know.
Cow, eat and give me Milk.....

My breakfast was better than grass. I had bits of hashbrowns and pancakes. We sat there for a while and watch the world go by.

We saw a lot of people buy flowers for Valentines day and mom was complaining that no flowers for us. Then Dad said:
No flowers in any garden can stand up to your beauty and No words can carry the song of my heart's feelings.

I came back had a quick shower and had my usual breakfast (Oatmeal Stuff). The we thought better get the blog going so I got busy with my Acer Aspire One, small cute laptop made for babes like me.

Who want McDonalds?

OK, Not much happening in my little world these days. I am adventurous but my parents are real chickens. They don't let me do things as they worry for me.. Unfair I would say. Last night I was really angry with my Dad. I went into the kitchen which is a forbidden area for me and Dad caned me. I raised my voice to the highest possible level that possibly alerted the cops and the fire engines. Everyone thought it was funny, but I was serious.

I managed to stack a 2 bottles of vitamin pills on top of a water bottle. My dad could not take the pictures on time.

Tomorrow is Valentines day, dad was asking who want to go McDonald's for a treat. I raised my Hand. I think pancakes taste better there than my home.

Who want McDonald's?

My favourite word these days is "NICE". Anything I see I would say it Nice. I am very positive person who can see the bright and right side of things in Life.

Weekend I post more picture and stuff.

Lazy Parents not doing my blog

Friends,

For the last 2 days mom and dad have been delegating the blog to each other. As always Mom won the challenge. I had enough of these Super Lazy parents.

In fact not much happened the last 2 days, may be that is why they are clueless where to start.

I have a bit of good news, Mom had been asked by her company to take 2 days of unpaid leave every month. Cost cutting due to Great Global Recession Festival. I kind of like this festival, longer Chinese new year break for Mom, now 2 more days at home with me. Things are looking good for me.

Getting up in the morning

These days I stared to wake up early, some times I try to sneak out of the bed myself before they all get up. Somehow one of them catch me before I get out of the room.

The latest thing is integrated language academy run by Mom, Dad and Uncle Appu.

Where did I park my Car? With Uncle Appu

Uncle Appu always talks to me in Malayalam, I also talk to him in Malayalam. Not that we understand each other, we always enjoy our conversation. Mom bangs me with Chinese and Dad hits me Malayalam and most of the times they both blast high pitch Shouting in English. Lucky our maid Gemma have not attacked me in Tagalog (Philippines Language). When are they going to learn my language is my question?

Stacking is fun now, After Lego stacking now I try to stack almost anything. I wish I got into stacking things a bit early. The best bit is when it falls down. That makes me laugh.

stacking shapes

Do leave some comments. No comments No fun.....

Thanks

I am FAT

So sorry we got busy during the weekend. We could not go the Thaipooyam festival, dont ask me why. It was almost a stay- home weekend, except a short trip to Komalas with daddy for his Dosa fix. So I took some of my old stuff out like Lego and started playing with it.

This is my old Bumbo Chair, long time I never sat on it. Guess what I am FAT !!!! Mary Chia ( a slimming centre in Singapore) Here I come , Help me....... I cannot get out of my own chair.

One of milk feeding bottles retired today after a year long service. So Daddy made some milk in it and asked mommy to drink. He said both are babies some times he does not know which one is the younger.

Anyway after dinner (usual boring stuff, cod fish and rice porridge and veggies) I had a cruchy apple to clean my teeth.

Weekend is over, I am looking forward to going back to Aunt janet place. They have more toys there and Aunt Janet and Sis Eugenia plays with me more than my parents these days.

Ctrl, Alt, Delete: My computer problem solved

Every day I learn new things.

I had to spend hours to fix the problem that I was having with my computer, finally I called the help desk and the guy ( my dad's friend) told me to hit Ctrl, Alt, Delete at the same time and your problem will be solved.

I tried and problem gone.

I saw Daddy do Yoga, then I joined him.
It felt good after few postures. I can say OM....... better than Daddy. Guess what along with the long list of things Mommy want me to learn Yoga too.

This morning I woke up, I got busy with housekeeping. My toys have not been cleaned in long time. The maid is not doing her job and parents are lazy bums.

I work hard

And Daddy eating toast

And the house is so messy with my toys, which they keep buying every time they go out.

Tommorrow is Thaipooyam (Lord Muruka's Birthday). If we go out to Little India, I promise to put some snaps from the festival.

My last posting is stuck on my computer, sorry

I don know what happened. I had a good story to tell you last night, I posted it but it is stuck as scheduled for posting (I don know what that means and why it is not posted???)

Any way let us move on.

Today was not much of an exciting day. I went to Aunt Janet home bit late. Mommy Daddy lazy to go to work, I guess. So they delayed my day too.

I was not feeling sleepy today, for some reason not in the mood to Nap.

In the car mommy was playing this DVD , to teach me Chinese alphabets. I was not in the mood to study, so I did not drink my milk. I told them to change the milk. I don want to drink that Pediasure stuff. I dont know who's ideas was to change my formula. I am Gain IQ fan you know.

Good news is that from tommorrow I get Gain IQ, and mommy can drink pediasure. Ha Ha...

Come home, mommy found out I had Nappy Rash. Quite bad you know. Sorry no pictures, I hope you understand.

Weekend is coming, don know what is the plan.

Bye for now

How did I get down from the Sarong?

Today, I shocked my Aunt Janet. She was boiling my stuff after making me sleep in the sarong.

Later I woke up and walk to Kitchen? Aunt Janet was really shocked. I can see her eye balls pop out with surprise. She asked me, Jay Min, How did you come out? Did you fall down? Pain Anywhere. I was not crying so she was confused.

My parents went crazy when they heard I threw up a bit after drinking milk. Does it have anything to with me possibly falling down from Sarong?

Poor Aunt Janet, Now she said she will monitor me for few days. My mom was touching my head all night looking for what? I don know. It was annoying massage all night long.

Dad had night classes so Mom came to pick me up and we took stupid taxi home.

Catch you all later.

What? I have smelly mouth?

Ayioo,

You won't believe it. My Aunt Janet said that my mouth smells (hanyupinyin : jiu-ba-heng-cou).

Guess what, I came home and straight away I brushed my teeth.

In the car on our way home from CCK, My mom was making fun of me, talking about my bad breath.

Let me try to give my own analogy to my bad breath, folks....
I eat a lot of fish and meat these days and the 4 small teeth I have sometimes do pick up germs, so may be that is why it is smelly.

Then I heard my mother told my father. Aunt Janet said that I am getting cuter everyday. Also more mischievous. Gosh, can they make up their mind. Cute or Naughty????

Later we went to the optical shop to suscribe a new pair of reading glasses for my mommy.

Came home and I tried to take my shoes off on my own. Prime Ministers and Presidents of the World, Watch out.... Shoes are coming.

ok, What else did I learn today? Hmmm... My mom always try to get me to say "I Love You". Guess what, I prefer to say 'I....iiiiiii-doooonnnnT-knownnnn'. Try harder, Mom.

At dinner time, like other mealtimes when I take a break from eating the rice porridge....My mom and now My dad too will tell me : "Jay Min, eat. You need to have more food intake, you are growing up." Either that or they will ask me :"Do you want to grow up?".

Dad will have a long day at work tomorrow (Wed). Let me get to sleep. However, they are busy blogging for me, so I am drinking my water now waiting for them to finish what they have to write for me!

A lot of FIRSTS today

Wah, what a day .

First Time Eating Pancakes..... (Not so tasty)

We were waiting for the restaurant to open, there we saw lion dance and some leftover Chinese New Year celeberations at the mall (Jurong Point). Local MP Mr. Cedric Foo was there. I think it is the First Time watching Lion Dance so close.

Then we go into to Crystal Jade for Dimsums. I never ate restaurant food before. Mom ordered some Congee ( Chinese Porridge). It was yummilesious, it was salty ( first time eating that much salt). First Time Eating restaurant food.

Then went kiddy palace, John Little and did a bit of shopping. Later I go my Aunt Janet place as mom and dad have things to do.

My mother insisted to have this group picture before we leave the restaurant.

Later
