Weekends
The pas few weekends are more fun than before
My parents brought KJ and I to Malacca, impromptu.
Even staying over for a night was a last
minute decision right there while we finished lunch at Malacca!
Imagine.
Spontaniety is more fun!
I went crazy. Hyperactive. My parents said it's become a chore to
bring me out.
Later folks...

I am 3 !
My parents said that I am growing up each day to become a beautiful lady.
They will miss the baby me.
My mother is worried about my grasp for the
Chinese language. At this moment I respond
in English and only to that few words I understand.

Well, I have a blast driving my parents mad on my birthday.
They have to catch up with my energy. It's good for them anyway,
they will feel younger when they are with me.
First, at school the day before with my schoolmates.
Then My parents took to the zoo.
See you soon...

School Fees wasted

My school has 1o new cases of Chicken Pox.
It was HFMD in Early May, and this month June is Chicken Pox.
Com'on Parents, You are wasting your school fees if you are not going to
be not watchful of we kids. K1 is closed for a week. My parents are worried sick now though I was jabbed with the vaccination.
Well... let my folks worry about it. I am just going to be who I am... current fave pastime -
S - c - r - e - a - m - i - n - g. I guess my lungs are expanding.
One thing for sure, I beat my mom on this. She seems to be screaming at me less! Yeeaah!
And Now... Schichida... my mom is contemplating to stop for a while. They just have no more extra time and energy left. No music class for me either which supposed to start this July.
Yeeaah too.
Khai Jun starts to cough again. After he's being nursed well back to normal. Back to school and he starts to cough.
Update again...

Bugs bugs everywhere
What 2 weeks for myself and my lil' brother.
First week into the infant care centre, poor lil' Khai Jun coughed. and that Sat, 15 May I ran a fever during the night. And I did not go Schicida class on the following day. Then Monday, my fever ran even to a higher temp. On top of that, Khai Jun's cough got worse. When he coughed, it did sound terrible. ALL the 4 of us stayed - my father, my mother, my brother and I. My father classes were cancelled. I went back to school on Thursday. So did KJ. Then the PDiatrician has to suspect that KJ has bronchitis (nevermind, could be wrongly spelled. I am not even 3 yet. pardon me). My mom was worried sick. 4.5 mths, how could KJ take medication, what more, the mask to help KJ to inhale that medicine. Gosh.
KJ got better by this Tues, started to be sent to the day-care. AND i have to vommit and then another fever started again on Wednesday. So I skipped school yet another day.
So the idea of staying in India in my grandparents' village home is being brought up for discussion again.
My father knew the greens, the space, the earth, the air will be good for everyone. He's just worried the stress he would undergo regarding the conveniences of a city living.
You will know we finally move or we stay.
Cheers,
JMD.
I hope the both of us, KJ & I will be free of viral bugs, bateria flu for the a long long time so that i can have more fun, and KJ can stop being subjected to silly medicine.
Pray for KJ and I. Thank you.

Little reward for dropping by my blog

This is for my faithful readers. Thank you for dropping by each time. and my apologies for the dissapointment for not updating.
It has been crazy times for my parents since. Mom went into labour to give birth to my handsome lil' brother. Dad has taken up more assignments. and changes at our home front.
So the last couple of months, I monitored my mom's performance to assess her if she's fit to become my blog manager full time, alone. I may drop my father altogether. He has have the time to play with me much let alone the time to manage my blog.
My mom has said I give her much work. I will try harder to be obedient the next time.
I have grow up quite a bit because mom cooks my dinner these days.
BTW, let me introduce you to my brother. His name is Khai Jun.
He's a good boy. I love him.
Cheers...

Bye Bye Little Skool House
I am not sure what is going on. I dropped out of the school even before I started it. After few days of schooling, I fell sick. Loose stool, fever and cough etc. Father stay home and look after this time.
Then the email came from the teacher, "there is an HFMD out break at School" 5 cases todate. so Panic button pressed, alarm bells went, news-wire send to Aunt Janet etc. To make a 'short story long' my parents decided to withdraw me from skool.
The reason being, Mommy is Pregnant, if I bring HFMD bug home (possible) and pass it Mommy then complicates the situation, bcoz Titi is inside, who by the way is kicking mommy a lot. I think he is going to be super hyper than me.
See some of my latest snaps.

Swensons at Vivocity, waiting for Venetarian Burger, ( cut vegetables in a bun , no patty $12.00)

Wearing Vietnamese dress (Thanks Ms. Kate, Daddy's student from Vietnam)

I miss going to Aunt Janet place.
Today was my first day at "The Little Skoolhouse".
Yes, that is the name of my '(s)kool'. (s) silent if you want to talk like me.
Just a half day session to begin with. For the first week one of the family member must sit in with me in the class. Poor daddy was the designated parent to sit in for the first day.
The school is nice, very colorful place with tons of toys. Daddy keep stopping me from touching the toys, he says " School got rules". What a shame, such a nice place but too many rules.
Anyway, I had it my way. Rules are there to break as per my little book.
My teacher Shirley is very animated, she can sing and got funny actions. But she does get angry with naughty boys and girls.
I went to a play gym near my school and threw balls around. After a while Daddy told me he wanted to go to toilet. He left me with my teachers and friends to play. You know what happened then ?? I pressed one button in the gym and it made a huge noise. I got terrified, I started crying" Daddy, Daddy. He was not there. I cried even louder, then he came. He hugged me and kissed me. I was happy again.
We went back to my classroom and ate my porridge. Later I went home with Daddy.
This evening mommy asked me, you want to go to Aunt Janet place or the School ?
I told her I miss Aunt Janet home, where there is no rules when it comes to playing toys and porridge always tastes better.
I called Aunt Janet and told her how much I missed her today.
Love

Mommy want to stop Brainy Classes for Phonetics ??
I happen to overhear mommy and daddy fight over the future of Schichida lessons.
Guys, I know this lesson is not going to make me a Brainy type, but I really like the Sunday rituals associated with this class.
Getting ready in the morning; poop (some days) eat 2 eggs, oat meal, milk, dress up, rush and walk in late into the class, terrorise teacher, daddy and who ever is sitting next to me. More important the lady from McDonald's who is anticipating me with a balloon. She even knows my name.
I went for the phonics lesson (trail class). Teacher got bad vibes from me, she backed off. No kidding. She told my parents, no need money, let me think again if Jaymin can benefit from this class at the age. Which leaves my Saturday afternoon slot open for Ballet or Piano lessons. Let mommy and daddy fight again and decide, who ever wins will end up loosing to me.
My name is Jay Min, which also means the "bright one wins".

Last Weekend
Let me try to remember what I did last weekend.
I went to check on the phonics class and gotten enrolled for class.
Then we went to Ikea for Lunch. Mom was hungry because little brother
was hungry. I can eat the baked Salmon there too.
I didn't like the salmon there where I prefered the boiled baby carrots.

Didn't eat much for lunch. My parents decided to head home for me to eat
a proper meal.
Sunday morning, as usual went for Shichida class. The first lesson of 3rd term.
Linking memory activity has gone from 5 cards to 7 cards.
A couple of activities have also 'up' the level.
Talk soon...

Yet Another Class for me

I am eating strawberry. Sour.... packed with lotsa anti-oxidants, so said my mom.
Hello Readers,
I am doing a survey.
Do you think my mom is going crazy?
Yes, because she enrolled me into yet another class - English Phonics. Starting next Sat, 10 Oct.
No, because she said she is just doing her best for the first 3-4 years to lay the foundation for me. Afterwhich, she would not go any crazier.
To me, I am just a kid. I learn not from just from the class but
a lot more from the home as I spend my time hanging out with my folks.
They need to listen to the old advice - Parents are the teachers.
Excuse me, cant you see I am watching my fave program? TV programmes for me are very shortlived. a Blink of the eye and it is switched off.
I am 26 mths. old Do I look like a Lion-Trainer in the making?
Other than the classes, I am doing fine.
What's your name? Min Min.
How old are you? I 2.
What's your father's name? Aji.
What's your mother's name? Jayne.
What's Er-Yee's name? Jar-net.
What's jie-jie' name? hmmm..
How are you? I 2. I fine. thank you. bye bye. see lu later.
The past 1 month since Sep, I love to sing along with my parents when I am trying to go to bed for the night. Abc song, 客人来, 三只老虎 (Brother John), 当我们同一起 (when we get together, the merrier we wil be). I really like Brother John because the tigers 真奇怪. Yes, I am proud of my daddy, he knows Mandarin more than I do.

Back from Trip

I am back with Daddy and Mommy from our India trip.

the baby cow shit stench, and best of it all, my parents did not freak out when I walked, jumped and fell, getting real mud-up, sweaty. Can you believe me? I laid down on the dusty floor, only short of rolling on it, well if only I know how to.

I love it there.
Mommy did not really like it this time.
Father worked his ass off on getting my stuff rolled out - like my food, the sterisling of my bottles, untensils, feeding, changing me, bathing me, playing with me.
In next update, I will show more photos and tell you one of the few achievements I made while there!

Oink-Oink has broken
There was an unexpected event happened this afternoon at Aunt Janet's place.
My Aunt was swinging me in the 'sarong' - I call it Oink-Oink, went snapped on me.
I have the most surprise look, eyes rounded up, mouth O-ing.
My Aunt called Eugenia jie-jie to come help carry me.
'Er-yi, oink-oink broken.' How?
Where do I nap now at Aunt Janet' place during the day?
Obviously I kept talking about it the complete day.
But when Mom asked me 'why the sarong broke?' thie next morning about the incident,
I was cool and 'because it broken'.
Talk soon....

I read newspaper

Hello Readers
From an almost-daily column to a monthly publishing. What a great job my parents are doing yeah.
What I am saying these days :
'no, no, no.' 'nO!'
'you, eyes spoiled.'
'Daddy.... where are you.....?'
'no hanger.'
'up, mummy. I walk walk.'

What I am saying these days :
'no, no, no.' 'nO!'
'you, eyes spoiled.'
'Daddy.... where are you.....?'
'no hanger.'
'up, mummy. I walk walk.'
'ok. ok. ok.' when I answer my parents to some of their instructions.
among many others. I am able to express into words what I need and want more understandabily to my parents. Which usually end with a 'no, no' from them.
You didn't think they would say 'yes', did you?
How I feel these days :
I feel sad when my parents switch off the tv while I am enjoying. They would say 'less tv. Your eyes will spoil.' I shed tears, not cry loud though, just shed tears because sad.
I usually listen to my mommy at once when she asks 'when's the hanger?'. I would tell her afterwards 'No hanger.'
I ate beef stew last weekend with very soft mussy rice. Nice.
I still love my ABC soup though.
Whenever My mom knows that my nose is about to run, She would pack me to nap.
She would give me back massage. I like. And I must say, the runny nose will not appear.
Well, at least for the last 2 times when I was in the 'yellow' zone. Otherwise you could see
my nose does wonders : they can blow bubbles.
My nose can blow bubbles. An old photo in Mar when I had my cold.
We went for an outing last Saturday at Raffles Place park.
My parents tried their luck to win a car for reading the daily newspaper.
No luck for them. But I enjoyed myself so did they. It was a breezy afternoon.
We park&ride. Daddy parked his car at Int'l Plaza, then rode the MRT train to Raffles Place park. A first for me with my father.
My father also used the train the same morning to go for his work. My mother
said he was like a child texting the awe he felt while he was in the train after
a long long time.

My treat to you... many many photos.

After recovery, my mother decided to have my hair trimmed shorter. At that period, it was hottest sweaty month. It drove my mom mad when she get a wiff of my unwashed hair.
